Designing a brand identity for VR, in VR.

Oculus Connect (2018) is the annual Oculus conference where VR game developers and content creators are invited to learn more about Oculus's VR platform, network with each other, and get the latest information about Oculus hardware, software, and technology in development.

OC5 wasn’t just an important five year milestone, it was where we launched the most ambitious and game-changing VR product ever: the Oculus Quest. We proved that the promise of VR had finally arrived by designing the branding for the event in VR.

Made in VR

The event’s design language was created entirely in VR. Instead of just alluding to the potential of VR as a medium, our event design embodied it entirely. From the logo to way finding to on-stage graphics, each element was carefully crafted in the virtual world, then brought into this one.
