Google April Fool’s

Emojify The Internet

Google Chrome wanted to use April Fool's Day to showcase a feature of their mobile app. To drive users to the mobile app, we chose to use the Google Translate capability to change any web page into the language of mobile: Emoji. I was lead Art Director on this campaign from conception to completion. On April 1st, 2014 it really worked, but now you'll just have to take our word for it.
