Facebook Cultural Moments
Bringing delight to Facebook in recognition of cultural moments and movements.
From 2019 through 2021, the Facebook Visual Systems team drove a program called ‘Wordmark Delight’ as the flagship product activation in support of a broad Cultural Moments program for the Facebook App. Designs were created by our internal team, agency partners at Animade, and a network of artists who represented many of the communities that we were celebrating in our activations.
My role as Creative Lead was to provide design strategy and creative direction across a range of these executions, guiding internal and external teams from concept to final implementation, and partnering with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, policy, legal and user research.
This reel showcases a range of work developed by the Facebook Visual Systems team and our partner agencies. All work was shipped, supporting key product initiatives and integrated product/marketing campaigns across the App. The outcome of my work accelerated program impact and grew core business needs at scale which was the foundation for the program.

Millions of people globally interacted with the ‘Wordmark Delight’ leading to a deeper dive into the moment across the Facebook app. 500+ pieces of animated art launched globally.
Amplifying Community Voices
Applied DE&I principles to create diverse and relatable visuals. I worked with global creatives from the same communities we celebrate which enabled authentic voices and stories to shine.
